Set in a fishing village in Kanyakumari, the film follows Siluvai, a Christian fisherman's son, and Sangeetha, a Hindu girl he falls in love with. When another inter-faith elopement shakes both communities, their own relationship is threatened, and the village has to decide whether love can cross religion.
