That kind of weekend hold in week three signals genuine audience momentum rather than a front-loaded opening burst, which is exactly the pattern a film needs to chase big lifetime totals.
The film is also closing in on Rs 200 crore in Tamil Nadu alone, a figure it could cross today or at the latest tomorrow. Globally, the picture stands at approximately Rs 774 crore, putting the Rs 800 crore worldwide mark within reach, though Pinkvilla describes that target as a close call rather than a certainty. The Diwali holiday corridor arriving now will be decisive.
